Essex National Trust Volunteers - We are a friendly group of people who volunteer some of our free time to carry out practical conservation work at National Trust sites throughout Essex. We have approximately 40 members from a wide range of backgrounds, ages (minimum age 16) and experience. Find out about the latest Essex NTV activities in the Newsletters. |
|
| What we do | |
|
We do a variety of practical hands on tasks, usually
2 per month, on a Sunday and / or midweek throughout the year. Our tasks
include coppicing, footpath maintenance and clearance, hedgerow planting,
tree felling, and scrub clearance. Other work may include pond clearing
and helping at National Trust events. The Gallery
shows us at work on location. |
|
| What's in it for you | |
A
chance to join an active social group who enjoy being outdoors, escaping
the office environment & humdrum of everyday life!
Find the hidden treasures of Essex – there is a life beyond the A12 and the A127 ! Come along to meet new people and maybe learn new skills or just enjoy a day out with a cup of tea and packed lunch after a few hours “on task”. Look at the Task List to see where we are next! |
|

Danbury Common, Blakes Wood, Flatford
& Dedham Vale, Grange
